Living Intentionally for Jesus' Mission

"Jesus’ life mission and message to glorify God has not changed. Neither has our mission changed since it is directly tied to His. Living an intentional life means a life driven by His, through us, for the Kingdom of God."

Living a life of intention requires a daily decision to deny myself. I deny my will, desires, passions, and dreams and replace them with God’s will, desires, passions, and dreams. I go on mission, every day, wherever God plants me, and take on the burden of Jesus Christ...Read More

Living intentionally is continuously surrendering my life to Christ and being tethered to God in such a close relationship that Holy Spirit directs my steps. This means that I choose to willingly lay down my own desires and plans and confidently grasp God's will for my life...Read More

Living intentionally for Jesus is becoming more like Him, every day.  Accomplishing this is a daily and personal commitment  to reading His Word, prayer, obedience, and carefully listening to the Holy Spirit. My desire and goal is a constant pursuit to be made like Christ, and that requires daily dying to self to where I become unconsciously Christ-like.

Living intentionally for Jesus is a daily calling I choose to obey. It is seeing those around me as He sees them and being His hands and feet wherever He calls me to. Loving people and loving them well is a command I continuously pursue, and making time for Jesus and His community is a priority.

Living intentionally for Jesus is giving all in obedience to Him. When I am in His Word, reflecting and practicing gratitude for all God has done in my life, I feel His presence in my heart, and I start to see others as He does. My desire and hope is to be more like Christ each and every day and to plant seeds in others so they can know the mission and love of King Jesus.

Intentional living for Jesus means to live with a purpose or deliberately with an aim or a plan. As a Christ follower, my purpose is to live out His mission. My whole life will be submitted to God as a wife, mother, teacher, sister, friend, and daughter. Through daily practice of reading God’s word, prayer, scripture memorization, and being involved with a community of believers, I can live out my purpose and advance the Kingdom of God being submitted to HimI strive to orient my life to His will and purpose and desire to glorify God in all I do.

Living intentionally, in His image, is a daily choice I make to walk a life of commitment to Christ. As a disciple of His kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven, I seek to welcome all of God’s children with love and to love them where they are in their walk. This is a passion that lives within the depths of my serving spirit,in any capacity He calls me to. With gratitude in my heart for all God has done for my life, I intentionally seek to pursue others to walk beside me in stewardship with the promise and confidence of Eternal life. To live with His intention is to surrender to His glory. Our Lord God is all knowing, even if our human inclinations are to give in to worldly desires and anxieties, my mind and soul are still as He is my guide, and His will is done, not mine. I am walking hand in hand with Jesus as my Savior, father and friend. I know I am loved. I know I am cared for and I trust and believe that I am walking into what will be the best, and most fulfilling years of my life, because of our King Jesus, for He has plans to give me hope and a future.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."

Matthew 9:37-38
