Holy Spirit gives special grace at salvation vs. God gives through common grace

 

Have to do with spiritual abilities vs. Have to do with techniques and methods

 

Depend on spiritual endowment vs. Depend on natural power

 

Builds up the spiritual growth of the Body of Believers in a supernatural way vs. Instructs, inspires or entertains on a natural level

 

Present from new birth (salvation) vs. Present from natural birth
