I recently was pondering so many thoughts as my lists were so long leading into Christmas. Every year I seemed to mumble the same words and ask the same question: “where has time gone?”
As my days seemed long with “to do’s” and the infinite pattern I had to get everything in, it seemed exhausting to think of. I was reminded that I wasn’t the only one. My sisters in Christ most certainly may feel the same way.
So why try to get everyone together when there seems to be no time? Why extend the invitation? Why ask? Most certainly no one seems to have the time.
Why? Because His presence is always shining bright when 2-3 gather in His Holy Name.
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” - Matthew 18:20
The power of community is just that.....take aside your endless lists, the hope of more time in a day, the buying and the wrapping, and of course your budget you try to stick to and His presence comes through.
God provides not only time but His glorious presence in the gathering.
So today, look around. Has Jesus given you a community to pour His love?
A community of discipleship opportunity is all around you, and yes, outside your home. A moment to stop and love on others.
Let His Light Shine Bright among you.
Pray together, feast together, laugh together, and hold each others burdens when it’s too heavy.
Romans 15:5-6
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Allow His Presence to dwell in your community, today.
